We're so excited to have you join us for your first class!

BEFORE
HYDRATE + FUEL: Drink plenty of water and have a light snack. We have a water fountain available and sell reusable bottles.

ATTIRE + SHOES: We recommend wearing athletic attire, form fitting pants or shorts, and of course, socks. If you’re attending a cycling class, our bikes require cycling shoes. You are welcome to bring your own SPD-compatible shoes. We also offer shoe rentals for $2.

STORAGE: We have cubbies for storing your belongings along with a bathroom to change. Complimentary sweat towels are provided.

 


 

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

CHECK IN: Arrive 15 minutes early and check in with the front desk crew. You’ll sign a waiver and get prepped on our style of class. If you are not signed in 5 minutes prior to class, your spot will be given away.

WATER + SHOES: A water fountain is available to use. If you do not have the proper cycling shoes, we have them available to rent for $2.

ETIQUETTE: Bring those good vibes! To respect the instructors and the other clients, we do not allow cell phones in the studio. If you are a doctor on call or have a sick family member, you are welcome to leave your phone with the front desk.

 


 

IN THE STUDIO

BIKE SETUP: As a new rider, it’s important to let one of our skilled team members properly fit you to your bike. Correct alignment is essential to our style of cycling, the effectiveness of your workout, and your personal safety. After you are fit, our staff will explain how to manage your resistance, demonstrate how to clip in and out of the pedals, and run through the basics of our technique.

SAFETY: Our classes are designed to push you to your limits, but it’s important to listen to your body and and remember that you are in control of your own bike. Our candle studio is the perfect environment for each rider to take every class at a pace that works for them.
